1. Matching and Hiring Arrangements

2. Visa and Overseas Procedures

  • Hong Kong work visa application and related fees
  • Local departure application and related fees
  • Local training school fees
  • Local compulsory insurance and related membership fees

3. Medical Examinations (Overseas and Hong Kong), including:

  • Hepatitis B
  • Syphilis
  • HIV
  • Chest X-ray
  • Routine stool examination
  • Pregnancy test

4. Arrival and Documentation Arrangements

  • One-way air ticket to Hong Kong
  • Arrangements upon the helper’s arrival in Hong Kong
  • Hong Kong Identity Card application assistance
  • Government documentation and delivery fees

5. Protection and After-Sales Support

  • Two-year domestic helper insurance
    (Avo Domestic Helper Protection – Plan A)
  • Follow-up and consultation services after the helper starts work
  • If a replacement helper is required within six months, one replacement matching service for the same category of helper will be offered at 70% of the original price


📝 Terms and Conditions

  • If the helper’s work visa application is unsuccessful, the employer may select another helper at no additional matching fee. If the employer chooses a refund instead, all payments received will be refunded within 7 working days.
  • If the helper is unable to take up employment, all payments received will be refunded within 7 working days.
  • If the helper’s actual commencement date differs from the agreed date, alternative arrangements will be discussed separately.
  • If the employer’s application is not approved by the relevant authorities, or if the employer unilaterally cancels the application, any payments already made are non-refundable.
  • If a replacement helper is required within six months, one replacement matching service for the same category of helper will be offered at 70% of the original price.

♻️ Hiring Process

  1. After we issue the invoice, please arrange payment according to the invoice. Upon receipt of payment, an official receipt will be issued. Please also provide the employer’s information and supporting documents as soon as possible, including identification, proof of address, and proof of income.
  2. We will then arrange for the employer and helper to sign the employment contract and collect the helper’s passport for processing.
  3. Once the required documents for the consulate and the Hong Kong Immigration Department are ready, we will arrange a time for you to sign all relevant documents.
  4. The helper is generally expected to commence employment in approximately two and a half months, calculated from the date when all documents required in Step 1 have been submitted and are complete.

🧾 Documents Required for Hiring a Foreign Domestic Helper

Proof of Identity

Please provide:

  • A copy of the employer’s Hong Kong Identity Card; or
  • If the employer is not a Hong Kong permanent resident, a copy of the personal particulars page of the passport together with the latest valid landing slip / visa.

Financial Proof

Generally, for each foreign domestic helper employed, the employer’s household income should be at least HK$15,000 per month.

Please provide any one of the following:

  • Latest tax demand note; or
  • Bank statements showing salary payments for the latest 3 months; or
  • Payslips / salary statements for the latest 3 months; or
  • Proof of assets, such as fixed deposit or savings account statements for the latest 6 months showing a balance of at least HK$350,000.

Proof of Residential Address

Please provide proof of address matching the address stated in the employment contract, for example:

  • Latest rates demand note; or
  • Utility bills issued within the past 3 months, such as water, electricity, or telephone bills.

If the document is not under the employer’s name, please provide proof of relationship, such as:

  • Marriage certificate
  • Birth certificate
  • Tenancy agreement
  • Other relevant supporting documents

If the residence is a Housing Authority / Housing Society property, please also provide:

  1. A consent letter from the Housing Authority / Housing Society approving the helper’s residence in the unit; and
  2. Copies of pages 1 to 4 of the tenancy agreement showing the address and household member information.

If Replacing an Existing Helper

Please provide the existing helper’s resignation letter / Notification of Termination of an Employment Contract (ID407E), stating the contract expiry or termination date.

If Hiring an Additional Helper

Please prepare a brief letter explaining why the household requires an additional foreign domestic helper.

If the Helper Is Required to Perform Driving Duties

Driving any type of vehicle is generally not included in normal domestic duties.

If the employer requires the helper to perform driving duties, a separate application must be made and sufficient justification must be provided.

The employer will need to provide:

  • Vehicle registration document
  • Valid vehicle licence
  • A letter explaining why the helper is required to perform driving duties

If the vehicle is registered under a company name, an additional company letter is required confirming that the vehicle is for the private use of the employer and the employer’s family.
