• A copy of the Hong Kong Identity Card; or

• If the employer is not a Hong Kong permanent resident, please provide a copy of the passport biodata page and the latest valid landing slip / visa.

• For example, the latest rates demand note, or utility bills issued within the past 3 months, such as water, electricity or telephone bills.

• If the document is not in the employer’s name, please provide proof of relationship, such as a marriage certificate, birth certificate, tenancy agreement or other relevant supporting documents.

• If the residential address is a Housing Authority / Housing Society property, please provide:

  1. A consent letter from the Housing Authority / Housing Society approving the domestic helper’s residence in the unit; and

  2. Copies of pages 1 to 4 of the tenancy agreement, showing the address and household member information.

Calculated as hiring a helper, or

the employer must have assets of a similar amount to enable the employer to employ the helper throughout the contract period.

• The latest tax return; or

• Bank statements showing salary payments for the most recent 3 months; or

• Company payslips / salary statements for the most recent 3 months; or

• Proof of assets, such as fixed deposit / savings account statements for the most recent 6 months, showing a balance of not less than HK$350,000.
